Pre-Climb Day — Airport Pick-up - Lodge І Hotel
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where a Parakuyo Tours & Safaris representative welcomes you and transfers you to your lodge in Arusha.
Your head guide conducts a full climb briefing, checks your gear, and answers all questions.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 1: Machame Gate (1,800 m | 5,905 ft) − Machame Camp (3,010 m | 9,875 ft)
Begin registration at Machame Gate, then hike through lush rainforest filled with birdlife, colobus monkeys, and towering ancient trees.
Arrive at Machame Camp late afternoon. Dinner + overnight.
Day 2: Machame Camp (3,010 m | 9,875 ft) − Shira Camp (3,845 m | 12,615 ft)
The trail climbs steadily through moorland to volcanic ridges and sweeping views.
Enter the expansive Shira Plateau — a dramatic high-altitude landscape.
Overnight at Shira Camp.
Day 3: Shira Camp (3,845 m | 12,615 ft)−Lava Tower (4,630 m | 15,190 ft) − Barranco Camp (3,960 m | 12,992 ft)
A key acclimatization day.
Climb to Lava Tower (lunch stop), reaching 4,630 m | 15,190 ft before descending into the Barranco Valley − one of Kilimanjaro’s most scenic areas.
Dinner and overnight at Barranco Camp.

Day 4: Barranco Camp (3,960 m | 12,992 ft) − Karanga Camp (3,995 m | 13,106 ft)
Begin with the famous Barranco Wall - a fun, non-technical scramble with spectacular views.
Follow a series of ridges and valleys before reaching Karanga Camp.
Important acclimatization night.
Day 5: Karanga Camp (3,995 m | 13,106 ft) − Barafu Camp (4,673 m | 15,331 ft)
Short but steep ascent to Barafu - your base for the summit attempt.
Arrive early, rest, hydrate, prepare gear.
Summit push begins after midnight.

Day 6: Barafu (4,673 m | 15,331 ft) - Uhuru Peak (5,895 m | 19,341 ft) - Mweka Camp (3,100 m | 10,170 ft)
Begin at midnight. A steady climb on volcanic scree leads to Stella Point at sunrise — magical.
Continue along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak, Africa’s highest point.
After photos and the “Experience of being on the summit”, descend to Barafu for lunch, then continue to Mweka Camp for overnight.

Day 7: Mweka Camp (3,100 m | 10,170 ft) - Mweka Gate (1,640 m | 5,380 ft) - Hotel
Descend through lush rainforest to Mweka Gate.
Collect your official Uhuru Peak certificate and meet your driver.
Return to your lodge for a well-deserved hot shower and relaxing post-climb night.
Transfer Day: Hotel − Airport
After breakfast / Lunch transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for departure,
or continue with a Northern Tanzania Safari or Zanzibar Beach Escape.
